2nd class reviewed their favourite books and shared them with the class for World Book Day! Some great recommendations 📚🐛

4th and 6th class enjoyed buddy reading together for World Book Day today. They also created character profiles, book reviews and alternative covers for their favourite books 📚✨

To celebrate World Book Day, 3rd class organised a book swap. Lots of very happy readers 📚📚

Thank you to our Parents' Association for all that they do for our school. The Parents Association organise many fundraisers and initiatives that help fund lots of activities around the school 🏀🖥🎨👩‍💻

As part of their study of local history, Mr. O'Mahony's 4th class went on a history walk around the town and then had to design a timeline of Newbridge, choosing the 10 most important moments in Newbridge history. No surprise to see lots of mentions of past pupil Christy Moore and Newbridge or Nowhere! 🎸⚽

A huge congratulations to Emilij who won the highly coveted Principal For A Day golden ticket! 🎫👨‍🏫🎒 We cannot wait to see what she gets up to as our first female principal. Thank you to everyone who entered.

More electricity in 3rd class. They were learning all things electricity and circuits with the help of Mr Fogarty ⚡

Thanks to our wonderful caretaker Paschal for building and fitting new bird houses throughout the school. Well done also to Mr. O'Shea's 6th class who painted them 🐦🐦‍⬛
